Bruce Erickson founded Chacon Belts and Buckles in 1974 and today his family has grown into the business. Lucia, Mark and Marissa Erikson are major contributors in this family owned business.

Lucia and Marissa have attended New Mexico State University with degrees in marketing, while Marc has been educated in the hands-on day-to-day operations by his father Bruce. The Erickson family is very proud of their business longevity and reputation. The small town of Rociada is located in San Miguel county and is approximately 27 miles from Las Vegas, New Mexico in the northern part of the state.
